Our hygienist Yolanda Alvarez (BOH)
Yolanda works at our practice on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Yolanda provides preventative services and focuses on all aspects of healthier gums. Her attentive care will help you minimise the need for dental treatment in the longer term.
Treatment services offered by Yolanda include:
- Treatment of gum disease and periodontal disease
- Tooth whitening
- Treatment of tooth hypersensitivity
- Topical fluoride applications and
- Treatment for dry-mouth syndrome
Infection Control
At Moss Vale Dental Clinic, we take our infection control regime seriously and follow or exceed ADA and NH&MRC guidelines. We appreciate that your safety is our responsibility and protocol and procedures have been instituted to maintain strict infection control for your protection.
We employ an “Infection Control Officer”, Jane Attwood, responsible for researching this field and attending courses. We also employ a dedicated staff member full time to process and sterilise non-disposable instruments and handpieces – very few other dental surgeries of our size do this.

Payment of Dental Fees
In order to simplify accounting procedures and reduce accounting costs this office does not extend credit to our patients. Payment is due at the time of treatment unless a prior arrangement has been entered into with the dentist as in the case of Department of Veteran’s Affairs patients.
Cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS are all accepted forms of payment.
